How Can I Remove "Semi-Permanent" Color From My Hair?
by Pooja Pawar Birds of paradyesIf you color your hair, there may be times when that color didn't turn out quite as expected or you simply want to go back to your natural color or you found a new color to try on.
Here are three steps you can use to get rid of hair color using natural hair color remover, or to fasten up the fading process.
1. Baking Soda
Baking soda paste is an effective way to remove hair dye naturally because of its properties. Try to mix baking soda & lemon juice, which is acidic, and then create a paste. Apply the paste on your hair, allow it to sit for 5 minutes, and rinse it off with water.
2. Vitamin C Powder
Crush up some Vitamin C powder in shampoo and wash your hair with the mixture. We’d love to see what color you pick up next! Apply it to your hair and let it sit for ten to fifteen minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
3. White Vinegar and Water
Like lime juice, vinegar is acidic in nature and good for cleansing. A lot of people use vinegar as a cleanser for scalp, but it can also help to remove hair color. Use it on your hair to remove the color. Allow it to sit for 10-15 minutes, then rinse off.
