TurboTax is a tax preparation software offered by Intuit. It is very easy to store our tax details on TurboTax. You can also file returns for your taxes through TurboTax. It is offered in Premium, Classic and many other versions as well.

Sometimes while using TurboTax you have to face some issues and these issues are only referred to as Error Codes. One such error code is the TurboTax Error Code 0503. This error code occurs when the spouse’s social security number and the first four letters of the spouse’s last name do not match with the details of IRS record. To fix this error try out the following steps:

1.    Verify the name, SSN and ITIN.
2.    If the name has been changed then wait for 10 days as it takes 10 days to be updated.
3.    If still the problem occurs then clear it by calling TurboTax Customer Service and tell
them about TurboTax Error Code 0503.
