Here Comes the Deluxe Nissan Cima Sedan

Nissan Cima is a luxury sedan first produced in 1988 - 2010 with a brief production hiatus and resumed again in 2012. It received good reviews and feedback and continued until the fifth generation.


1988 - 1991 (Y31)

The Y31 series was a 4-door hardtop luxury sedan that was introduced in 1998 as the first generation until 1991. The interior features include front adjustable seats, power steering, a radio cassette player, and air conditioning. The Cima is fitted with a 3.0L VG30DE V6 (220HP) petrol engine and a 3.0L VG30DET V6 turbocharged petrol engine (250HP), with a 4-speed automatic transmission.

 

1991 - 1996 (Y32)

The Y32 was released in 1991 - 1996 featuring a mid-size chrome-plated grille with large halogen headlights, signal lights, and fog lights. The interior is spacious with enough legroom and foot room, seats covered in fabric or leather, the driving position offers great exterior visibility, multiple storage areas, and large boot space. It is equipped with a 3.0L VG30DET V6 (255HP), and a 4.1L VH41DE V8 (268HP) with 4-speed AT.

 

1996 - 2001 (Y33)

In 1996, the Y33 was unveiled and was also known as the Infiniti Q45 in America. The new Cima offers lots of space which can accommodate five passengers with enough head and legroom. Also came with an analog instrument cluster with great visibility, radio, CD player, navigation screen, rearview camera, and plenty of door pockets and storage. The Y33 is fitted with petrol engines: 3.0L VQ30DE V6 (220HP); 4.1L VH41DE V8 (268HP); 4.5L VK45DE V8 (340HP), with a 4-speed AT or CVT.


2001 - 2010 (F50)

The F50 was produced from 2001 until 2010 and offered a luxurious style and features. From its unique seven reflector headlights, seats, door panels, upholstery, and audio system. Also include climate control, rear privacy glass, power windows, power seats, cup holders, front seat jacket pockets, a large glove box, and center bin. The F50 came with a 3.0L VQ30DET V6 and 4.5L VK45DD V8 direct-injection petrol engine. Both engines generate power of 280PS (206kW) and are mated either to a 4-speed or 5-speed AT.


2012 - 2020 Y51

In 2012, the production of the Cima Y51 was resumed with a new sense of luxury and elegance. It comes with a detailed and comfortable interior including a multifunctional digital system as navigation, rearview camera, audio functions, two air vents, analog clock, climate control, Bluetooth, multiple storage areas, and boot space. The Y51 is a hybrid version equipped with a 3.5L VQ35HR V6 producing power of 225kW (302HP) that works with an advanced electric motor ‘HM34’ and high-output lithium-ion battery producing power of 50kW (67hp)
