Education Is Essential

Education is at the center of the People to People Foundation's mission. The non-profit's contributions have been used to provide after-school tutoring, vocational training, computer courses, books, and regular school tuition for impoverished children at orphanages around the world.

Giving to the People to People Foundation means you're not only ensuring orphans in India and Poland have the basics of shelter, food, and clean water, but you're also empowering them. Education gives these children a chance to develop the skills and knowledge they'll need to be positive members of their communities and build better lives for themselves.

Building A Foundation

While education is a central goal in all of the organization's work, meeting children's basic foundational needs is also a priority. People to People Foundation partners with orphanages to ensure children have nutritious food to eat, proper clothing, and clean drinking water, among other essential things.

One of the main contributions People to People Foundation has made to various orphanages is the funding and construction of wells, used for clean drinking water and irrigation. The organization has also assisted many orphanages in procuring more land, which allows them to expand and give refuge to more orphaned children.

To date, the organization has been able to raise over $10K for Jnana Mandira Orphanage and about $13.5K for Infant Jesus Children's Home, both in Bangalore, India. As for the Family Assistance Center in Osweicim, Poland, nearly $13K has been raised by People to People Foundation's program.
