Isometric contractions

He will hold your ankle for 3 to 4 seconds only so that, excessive pressure is not built. After few seconds, the angle of knee flexion is altered and the exercise is repeated. Once you have attained the perfect range of angles, the workout will become much easier for you. Hamstring catches

It is a very interesting yet easy exercise.  Just lie down on your front and allow your leg to fall. However, the hamstring muscle will hold that leg and prevent it from falling. You might take few days to learn this exercise properly but it is not at all tough. Make sure that you are in a relaxed position while making your leg fall. This helps in strengthening the muscles and getting them used to regular hamstring exercises.

Bridge exercises

To perform bride exercises, you will have to lie on your back and then bend your knees. Now, you will have to push your butt upwards making a bridge of the body. When you will use both your feet to push the floor and raise your body, your hamstring muscles will get stronger. The trainers will often advice you to start with 3 set, and repeat them around 8 times. As you get used to it, you can increase the timing and move on with single leg bridges.
