Get an MBBS in Russia
by Akshah Sharma Education ConsultantsMedicine has been considered as a noble profession since time immemorial. Doctors have been considered equivalent to god by everyone. Well, that kind of respect is bound to be present, since the job they do involves saving the lives of the ones in pain. The noble nature of the profession attracts thousands of students every year to consider medicine as a profession. Every year, across the country, students in huge number sit for the medical entrance examination. They work hard for years to clear the entrance examination. So many students kill their social life completely to prepare well for the exam. The level of dedication and hard work that goes in for this exam is remarkable. And it has to be so, as that is what this exam demands. Hours and hours of studying put together. Despite all the hard work and compromise that a child does, he/she is not able to secure a seat in the good medical colleges of the country. So many hearts are left broken and dreams are shattered every year in the name of medical as a profession.
As a result of this limit, a lot of students either drop a year or give up their dream completely. Some even go to the extent of committing suicide. The ones who drop a year increase the competition for the coming batch, who in turn drop a year, and the cycle keeps going. This way a lot of students are left broken and are forced to take up a career that they never wanted to in the first place. There is another option available as well. Those are the private medical colleges. These colleges are highly expensive and the quality of education is nowhere near to what they demand as tuition fees. Does this mean you have to quit completely? Not really.
The Medical Council of India has now recognised a few medical colleges in countries like Ukraine and Russia, where students can fulfil their dream of becoming a doctor. There are medical colleges that provide quality education and professional training in the field of medical sciences. The education is much better and the tuition fee is much lower in comparison to what one is expected to pay in the private colleges of India. Since these colleges and universities are recognised by the MCI, you won’t find it difficult to secure a job in India as well as any other country. The cons of this are that you will be miles away from your home and your country. The cultural difference might come as a shock to a few, but the universities offer language courses from the very beginning of the course. This helps one fit in as well as enjoy the culture of the country. The food, as well as the extreme winters, might be an issue for a few, so make a decision keeps these things in mind.
