GATE Result 2017 will be released by IIT Roorkee. GATE 2017 will be held on 4 – 5 February 2017 & 11 – 12 February 2017. The candidates those who appear in the exam can check their result on the official website of the GATE. The expected date for the release of the result is 27 March 2017. After the release, the score card of the candidates will be issued which will remain active for download from 27 March to 26 May 2017. The candidates can check their All India Rank in the result and also download their scorecard as per the schedule. On the basis of their result, they can participate in the M. Tech admission and counselling process. The result will be available via online mode and the candidates will not be receiving it via any other mode. GATE Result 2017-

The GATE 2017 Result will be providing the candidate's rank and score in the exam. They can download the result from the official website. To check the result, they will have to enter the required details and submit them. The GATE score is valid for next three years from the date of declaration.

• Marks out of 100.
• Qualifying marks.

How To Check GATE 2017 Result?

In order to check their Result of
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2017, the candidates can simply follow the steps provided below:

1. First of all, they will have to login to the GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System).
2. To login, they will have to enter their enrollment id or username and password as well.
3. On logging in, the GATE Result will be displayed.

After the declaration of the result, the candidates those who have qualified the exam will only be able to download their result. They can download their admit card for the given time only. There is no provision of issuing the hard copies of the score card.

In 2016, 9,71,831 candidates were applied for the exam, where in only 8,18,850 candidates appeared in the exam and only 15 %- 16 % candidates were declared qualified.
