Four Important Small Details for your Wedding Day

by John Smith Owner
Everyone wants their wedding day to be perfect. Even the tiniest detail can make a huge difference to the look and feel of a person’s wedding. For example, picking the right tableware such as centrepieces, table runners, and table skirts. Here are some accessories that you may not have thought about.

Chair Covers

Some venues may provide chairs for the wedding but not the chair covers. In recent years, chair covers have become a lot more popular. There are two main reasons for this. Firstly, the covers protect the chairs that have been hired. Secondly, they will make the furniture match the wedding theme.

Regarding style and materials, it all comes down to the cost. Most opt-in for a simple white cover due to it being a cost-effective tableware, and the ability to accessorise them with sashes, etc. Other options include satin wrap covers, spandex, lycra, damask, and poly visa. All of these will vary in price and may not fit the chairs that you have hired.

Napkin Rings

Not many people opt in for napkin rings. However, using them will accent your tables and make them look gorgeous. You can purchase these rings in multiple colours and in a variety of designs. Whatever your theme is, there will be a colour and design to match.

There are two main types of napkin ring that you can purchase. The first one being just the standard napkin ring, often being the simplest ring with a basic design. The second is known as a figural ring. These rings will have some form of figure or sculpture such as a flower or butterfly.

Table Skirts

You have probably already purchased some table cloths to fit the wedding theme. You could also purchase some table skirts to make the table look even more spectacular.

The idea behind them is to dress the table up. They simply go around the edges of the table and drop down to the floor. This gives an elegant look and can really spruce up the reception.

Design-wise, you can go for box pleats which will give the most elegant look. On the other hand, you can go for shirred pleats which give the table skirt a ruffled look. It all comes down to personal preference and what you think looks best.

Centrepieces

Many people will take the effort of making their own centrepieces to give it a personal touch. You can also buy premade centrepieces. There is a whole collection of ideas online for centrepieces, and they will vary a lot in price depending on how ‘all out’ you go.

You might not think a centrepiece is needed, but just imagine a table without one. It looks quite bare, and even a vase filled with tea lights or glass pebbles will reduce the emptiness.

There is no denying that planning a wedding is extremely overwhelming. It is easy to get stressed, and this tends to make you forget about the little details. Hopefully, you have been made aware of the little decorations that will light up your wedding. Re-inspired by the accessories suggested above and can get those fine details planned.
