Dive-In Movie Theater

Take the concepts from a drive-in movie theater and put them into your new pool design! You can build a screen into the design of your pool, perhaps built into a rock wall. You’ll also need to install a projector and speakers. Purchase a few floats for seating, and you’re good to go. Popcorn is still recommended, as long as you can keep it dry!

Rock-Climbing Wall

Fun for both adults and children alike, a rock-climbing wall is an excellent way to add excitement to your pool. You could build the rock-climbing wall ten to twenty feet high. The wall will be built into the edge of your pool and extend upwards at a curved angle. This ensures that when they fall, the climbers fall into the water. You’ll need to make sure the depth of your pool is deep enough for such falls.

Swim-Up Bar

This is one design feature that people have begun to take advantage of in recent years. Previously, you could only access a swim-up bar at a tropical resort. But now, it’s easy to install them in your pool. Most pool owners choose to create a hut that contains a kitchen and wet bar. This area is accessible from dry land. However, the bar will face the pool, where there will be multiple stone seats in the water. This makes it easy for those enjoying a swim to enjoy a delicious beverage as well!

Fireplace In The Pool

Another exciting design feature that we’ve seen lately is a fireplace in the pool. A round structure will be placed in the middle of the pool. This area will contain a fire in the middle and will be surrounded by benches or chairs. Guests can enter and exit this area via stairs that are connected to the pool deck.
