Note: Before beginning with the solutions below, Confirm your Wireless network name (SSID) Wireless password (Security Key)

Solution 1: Make sure that your wireless device has obtained a proper IP address

Ensure that your wireless device's IP address must is it in the same range of the router's IP address. check your both the IP address and change accordingly. Obtaining a proper IP address is essential.

Solution 2: Forget or remove your previous wireless networks from your PC

This is one the most important factor If you forgot or remove your previous wireless details from your PC or you changed the password of your wireless network then you want to be able to connect to your Wi-Fi

 .

Solution 3: Change the SSID (wireless network name)

This is an alternative way to resolve this problem generally caused by changing a password or something about the wireless network, Change your SSID (wireless network name) instead of forgetting or removing a wireless network. By changing your SSID a new wireless network will be created now enter your password and to connect to it.

Solution 4: Change the security mode and the encryption

Log in to your router and change the security mode this will help you in resolving the security mode mismatch issue.

We highly recommended you to use WPA or WPA2 personal as wireless security modes. it will establish a stable connection with your wireless device, especially devices with the latest technology.

Note- For a Tenda device, select WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, Mixed WPA/WPA2-PSK, WPA Personal, WPA2 Personal or Mixed WPA-WPA2 Personal as the Security Mode or Network Authentication.

Sometimes the Tenda device's wireless safety mode is not compatible with your wireless device. In this, you need to disable wireless security. This is especially for older devices and Windows Vista computers.

Solution 5: Reset the Router to factory default

Sometimes due to MAC filtering, the computer denies the connect if you don't know how to use a Mac filter you can eliminate the limitation by simply resetting the Tenda device to factory default.

Find a Reset or RST button/hole on the back panel of the Tenda device and hold down it till all the indicators turn on or off and several of them will back off or on later. all of the customized settings of the Tenda router will be erased after resetting.

Solution 6: Update the wireless driver of your device

You may need to update your computer's driver if other devices can connect to Wi-Fi. This generally happens with older devices.
