The troops trapped inside the building were told to hold their ground, and boy did they follow their orders! The east side of the building serves as a memorial of Sergeant Yakov Pavlov’s determination and valor. For a history buff, the memorial is reason enough to book flights to Volgograd.
      
Pay a visit to the Hall of Military Glory 

It is no secret that the Russians take immense pride in the power of their military and all the battles and war that they have won.
