Evil Spirits - Can We Be Haunted or Possessed?

You can hear the footsteps upstairs coming from the hallway even though you know there is no one there. Ordinarily used items keep disappearing and reappearing without any cause. Doors keep on slamming unaccountably. The fragrance of a strange scent can be smelt in the air. The kitchen lights keep turning on by itself. A persistent thumping can be heard echoing in the walls. Although hauntings or being possessed by spirits are of rare occurrences, sometimes it can become quite difficult to decide whether such strange activities are due to the spirits trying to haunt or possess us.

1.       Slight psychokinetic occurrences:

It is one thing to hear a door close or open. Seeing it happen actually is quite another. In the same way, seeing a light actually go off or on by itself is a proof of something unexplainable is happening. Windows and doors are unlocked or locked. There have even been some reports stating that people can hear and/or feel someone sitting on their beds.

2.       The feeling of being touched:

It is truly unsettling if one gets a strange and unexplainable feeling of being touched. Some might get the feeling of someone or something brushing past them. Or they might get the feel of someone placing a "hand" on their shoulder. Some have also reported feeling a gentle nudge, push or poke.

A cat, dog or any other kind of pet starts to act strangely in the presence of evil spirits. Dogs will normally start to bark and growl at something unseen, shrink or recoil for no apparent reason, or resist entering a room that they would normally don’t do.
