Enjoy Affordable Holiday at Samoa Through Budget Samoa Hotels

by Airport Lodge Samoa Hotels ,
A Samoa holiday can prove to be a thrilling and exhilarating holiday experience for families, as well as the perfect romantic getaway, for the newly married couples.  Where else can you swim alongside enormous green turtles? Where else can you relax to your heart’s content in the traditional thatched roof little huts (known as fales), dozing languorously, listening to the harmonious melody caused by the waves of the ocean? Where else can you explore villages and hamlets which are little pockets of authentic Polynesian culture and traditions? Simply put, the virgin island of Samoa which is situated between its neighboring island countries New Zealand and Hawaii is a mini paradise on earth in terms of natural beauty.  It’s unique ecosystem is a virtual mine of exotic species of flora and fauna both on land as well as underwater.

The exquisite island of Samoa offers a variety of entertaining and relaxing pursuits for tourists with different preferences. If you want to laze around and not do a thing, you can simply doze in the fales, listening to the music created by the ocean waves and enjoying the cool breeze.Or if you have an adventurous bent of mind you can go snorkeling, and kayaking in the ocean waters, or indulge in a session of deep-sea diving and scuba diving. As mentioned before beneath the oceans of Samoa there is a multi colored, and brilliant whole new world waiting to be discovered. The oceans have a multitude of exotic species of fish as well as vividly coloured coral reefs.

You can also try exploring the evergreen tropical rain forests through the Rain forest Canopy Walkway. You can have a go exploring the numerous villages which have been buried in molten lava, through volcanic eruptions centuries ago. You can also pay a visit to the Robert Louis Stevenson Museum (author of Treasure Island) which contains several personal artifacts of this legendary author. You can visit the remarkable beautiful Togitogiga Forest Park or the Le Pupu-Pue National Park  which has over forty-two exotic species of birds.

You can also partake the delicious Samoa food which consists of fresh meat and fish wrapped in banana leaves and left under lava stones ( also known as the umu or natural oven ). You can participate in a fiafia night where you will be served such a umu grilled dish. The best part of Samoa cuisine is that not a drop of oil is used in preparing the dishes, it is instead barbecued and served along with coconut cream. Samoa cuisine is healthy and simply delectable.

The issue of Samoa accommodation can be a tricky one, as it is not always very easy to find quality accommodation which would also be within your budget. Most of the hotels are located in the capital city of Apia, and if you are feeling jet lagged undertaking a journey to Apia can seem quite laborious and exhausting. There are some quality Samoa hotels located near the Samoa airport which provide comfortable, clean hygienic and most importantly affordable lodgings. These hotels are located both near the airport, as well as the ferry center, so transportation both to the airport and the ferries, ( if you want to travel to Apia) is convenient and hassle free.

These Samoa hotels prefer to classify  themselves as motels as they are not as ostentatious and flamboyant as seven star hotels. They offer budget accommodations to families who are looking for an action packed yet affordable holiday at Samoa. These motels do not have private beaches but have private jetties which offer safe and secure ocean bathing. Delicious home cooked food, clean, air-conditioned rooms and insect proof windows are available as well.  If you are looking for a fun-filled and exciting Samoa holiday on a shoestring budget, these budget motels might be your ideal choice of accommodation.
