Empower Network: The Intangibles

by Mike Cleveland entrepreneur

Before I get to my Empower Network Review, let me say that I use to be a skeptic.

When I saw people who started blogging then a month later they had not written any posts, I myself got turn off.

I remember reading a review that came out against this Empower Network (EN). The writer was saying that a person could not brand themselves with an EN blog. With all the banners of Dave Wood and Dave Sharp place all over it, it seems that the only people being branded were those two.

At the time, I had to agree with this reviewer.  I even wrote in the comments, how I could not see the benefits of this blogging system.

But I change my mind because the blogging system can get a person on the very first page of Google easily. I've only been in EN for only two months and I am see my posts ranking on the first pages of Google.

A few day back, I was reading a review of Empower Network and the blogger was saying good things about the program.

His review took a turn and it became negative. So, I responded.

Response To Negative Remarks about Empower Network

You have done a great job with this review. I like the fact that you are totally honest. You shared some points at the end that are cause for concern for people and for you:

You said,

“The parts of it I don’t really understand or like is the lack of transparency.

This pisses many people off, even if it is only a few bucks, it puts a sour taste in a persons mouth.

And to make it even more of a bad taste, they call you names and say that you are a wussie and suck if you don’t go ‘All In’.

Don’t get me wrong, marketing is marketing, and these guys DEFINITELY know how how to market and build teams, BUT, I personally feel they need to be more professional with there message, especially on the calls, and also be upfront on what people are paying for when they join.

But that is enough of me ranting and going off a bit.”

My answers,

My Response:

Empower Network's primary product is a done for you blogging system. A person does not have to upgrade to the affiliate program by paying $19.95 for a merchant account, or buy any of the training products.

Dave Wood is not trying to hide anything. You said it yourself that the beauty of EN is everything is set up. Even, the sale funnel. Even, the merchant account is setup for a new person that would to get Private Label Rights to resell the products.

And, a person does not have to become an affiliate to buy any of the training products.

My Response:

I agree with you that people could become offended by being called a “wussie.” But, I have never heard Dave say that a person sucks.

I have followed Dave Wood for a while now and I know that his heart is end the right place. The method is in bad taste.

But, he knows what it takes to become successful in business. It takes toughness that the average person, truthfully, does not have. He is trying to be like a drill Sergeant. On the surface, it seem harsh.

Saying that, I might add that EN is also about personal development. You find this in EN's 8 core daily actions and in the conference call every Monday night.

It might not be the right fit for everyone. But, Empower Network has to be doing a lot of things right to have grown to 100K in 18 months and continues to grow. 100 thousand people think and feel it's right for them.
