Eden Hazard has been Entitled with Devil of the Year 2019 Award

RBFA, aka Belgian Football Union, named Eden Hazard as the Red Devil player of the year 2019, on Monday; he is being entitled with this name for the third time in a row.

The fans select Eden through a proper voting system held by the federation’s website. The year 2019 was a successful year for the Belgian captain, who joined Real Madrid in summers. He appeared in 8 international matches and made five goals accompanied with seven assists.

The first Devil of the year award was conducted by Belgian Football Union in 2015, which was won by Kevin De Bruyne. In 2016, Dries Mertens was named with this title, and since then, the popular young winger of the Belgium Eden Hazard is dominating the place for the last three years.

Hazard, who also been at the thirteenth spot in the last Ballon d’Or, played total 106 games for the national side so far and gathered 32 goals. It is the second-best career figure by any of the players in Belgian selection history; the first one is Romelu Lukaku, with 52 goals.

Eden Hazard made the difference in two national matches of the side against Russia, which happened to be the fiercest rival of the Belgium team in the qualifying rounds of Euro 2020. Find also about Orel Mangala biography here.

Eden once again proved his presence as a technical leader in the ground when he struck two goals in Brussels and new double in Saint Petersburg along with one critical pass for Thorgan. He is improving himself with every passing moment and developing into an excellent player who can even do better in upcoming tournaments.

Belgium is currently one of the favourites in the upcoming continental title next summer.
