eCommerce is going to be necessary for every business by 2020.

by Isaiah Bollinger CEO of Trellis
People think of eCommerce as selling physical products, when this could never be further from the truth.  The fact of the matter is that eCommerce is essentially selling anything online including services. Restaurants can be eCommerce and deliver their food, dentists can have people schedule appointments and pay online. etc etc.

Every year moving forward into the future will mean that eCommerce is more and more of a necessity for your business. Whether it is having your customers schedule appointments, pay their bills online, or simply subscribe to your services, you will have to move in that direction.

Having worked in Internet marketing for over 4 years now, I still see stubborn business owners avoid the internet.  Unfortunately, over the next several decades, there will be no avoiding it.  If you are not going to embrace the Internet, you will eventually go out of business.

It may be 5 years, it may be 10, or even 20. Either way, the Internet is growing exponentially, mobile devices are exploding and everyone wants things done quickly. eCommerce is the easiest way to speed up the service time of your business by automating the transaction process.

With eCommerce you can automate bill paying and purchasing so you can spend less money on employees dealing with transactions. This will save you tons of money in the long run, and allow you to focus on other more important aspects of your business.

If you are looking to build an eCommerce website, please contact me at Trellis and ask for Isaiah Bollinger.  I will guide you in the right direction at no cost, whether it be the right eCommerce CMS or a custom eCommerce website.  I will figure out what is best for your situation.
