Easy snack recipes for cooking

Snacks are a very important part in Indian cuisine. Whether it is a party, a get together or just a cosy evening with friends and family, some snacks make it delightful. That is why; when it comes to snacks people do have a plenty of options and each part of India has its own unique snack recipes. One can try a few at home as well.

Beetroot Chicken Cutlet

This is a juicy patty kind of thing which goes very well with a cup of tea or coffee. One can get some mouth melting juicy chicken in a crunchy snack like this. Adding beetroot means adding a colour to the preparation as well. Go for pudina chutney along with it. This will give it a spicy twist.

Homemade Pizza

If you go by the name, you know what to do with this. Make this at home and enjoy a simple and delicious pizza with a light and golden crust. You can also feel free when it comes to usage of toppings. This will depend on what you have in store in your kitchen and when it comes to vegetables, it will depend on the ones available during the season.

Cheese Chicken Momos

This one is soft and delicious and all the credit goes to the melting cheese inside the momo. Here, one needs juicy minced chicken and some hot cheese to make the filling of the momo. A very little spice and the regular recipe will serve you with these delicacies.

Moong Dal Pakora

Lentils can also be an ingredient for pakoras. For example moon daal can be used to make very delicious pakoras. Here moongdaals is soaked in water and then a paste is made out of it by grinding it in the mixture.

Egg Chaat

If you are inclined towards salads then why not go for egg salads as well? It is a desi mix of tamarind, ketchup, boiled eggs (sliced into two halves), roasted cumin and a dash of lemon. This has a tangy and delicious taste and is a perfect dish as an evening snack.

Chicken Samosa

If one looks for samosa banana kividhi in cook books they will get a lot of recipes. This variation of samosa is a fried and delicious snack which is loved by all. A batter is made with flour and then a mixture of chicken cubes and spices are stuffed within it. It is then deeply fried in oil and served hot with tomato sauce or spicy green chutney.

Lentil is always there at home. When lentils are steam cooked to make this delicious snack it is healthy too. It has a lot of proteins, iron, calcium and folic acids. One has to soak the lentil for at least two hours before cooking because it increases the digestibility and is good for stomach. One can make moulds out from this and then steam them in shape. They are light and one can add chilli powder for more taste.
