Drive in Luxury and Satisfaction – BMW Alpina

Alpina (Alpina Burkard Bovensiepen GmbH & Co. KG) is a company that works independently but permanently partnered with BMW by designing and customizing high-performance cars. Alpina is known for its higher torque, luxury, and performance, with exceptional styling, badging, and other extra options which is not typically found on BMWs.

The available models include the Alpina XD3 and XD4 which are based on the BMW X3 and X4 models. While the B4, B5, and B6, are based on the BMW Series 4, 5, and 6. And the Alpina B7 is based on the BMW 7 Series.


Models and Engines

The Alpina XD3 wagon comes with a bi-turbo 3.0L 6-cylinder (N57) diesel engine producing 394 hp and 590 pounds of torque, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds with a maximum speed of 254 km/h. It has an average fuel consumption of 14 km/l with an 8-speed sport automatic (Switch-Tronic) transmission.

The Alpina XD4 coupe is fitted with a quad-turbo 3.0L (N57) diesel engine producing 380 hp and 567 pounds of torque, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds with a maximum speed of 266 km/h. It offers a fuel consumption of 12 km/l.

The Alpina B3 Bi-Turbo is available as a 4-door sedan or a 5-door touring with a bi-turbo 3.0L (N57) diesel engine producing 462 hp and 516 pounds of torque. The engine accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.0 seconds with a speed of 304 km/h and fuel consumption of 10 km/l.

The Alpina B4 Bi-Turbo is a convertible/coupe with a bi-turbo 3.0L 6-cylinder (N55) DOHC petrol engine producing 452 hp and 501 pounds of torque, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds with speed of 306 km/h and fuel consumption of 11 km/l.

The Alpina B5 Bi-Turbo is a Sedan/Wagon with a bi-turbo 4.4L 8-cylinder (N63) petrol engine producing 621 hp and 501 pounds of torque, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds with a speed of 330 km/h and fuel consumption of 9 km/l. 

The Alpina B6 Bi-Turbo is a 4-door grand coupe powered by a bi-turbo 4.4L (N63) petrol engine producing 600 hp and 590 pounds of torque, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds with a maximum speed of 320 km/h and fuel consumption of 9.6 km/l.

The Alpina B7 Bi-Turbo sedan comes with a bi-turbo 4.4L (N63) petrol engine producing 608 hp and 501 pounds of torque, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds with a maximum speed of 330 km/h and 9 km/l fuel consumption.

Interior 


The BMW ALPINA interior comes with the finest materials and excellent workmanship that give a luxurious and comfortable ambiance. The Alpina’s standard equipment includes a DAB system, a HiFi loudspeaker system, a LAVALINA leather finish, and a sports steering wheel. Exterior


The ALPINA design and aerodynamic elements come with business-like functionality and dynamic appearances. The front end features a large BMW kidney grille, DRL, and LED headlights. There is a spoiler that reduces lift when driving at high speed maintaining the car's stability. Under the rear bumper, are two ALPINA stainless steel exhaust pipes with elliptical twin tailpipes that give a smooth, elegant look. Also fitted with 20-inch 20-spoke ALPINA CLASSIC forged wheels which are available in either Black or Himalaya Grey color.

The Alpina features standard equipment that offers maximum comfort for both the driver and passengers. It includes high-end Nappa leather, BMW navigation, multifunctional comfort seats, ceramic inserts on control elements, Parking Assistant, communication, and infotainment systems. Optional features include a full-color head-up display, rearview camera, and the latest BMW navigation and communication.
