Discount Flights To Bangkok

by Jack Smith Digital Marketer
Bangkok is the capital and largest city and capital of Thailand. Popularly known as Krung Thep or "City of Angels". It is one of the largest cities in the world and probably the largest with a population of about 10 million. Bangkok is highly ranked as a destination by the travel and tourism departments of most countries. Thus most airlines now offer cheap flights to Bangkok with discounted airfares.

Previously Bangkok was connected by an extensive network of canals and thus was nicknamed the "Venice of the East". At that time most of the transport was done on boats. Now, most of the canals have been converted into streets. Bangkok International Airport, popularly known as "Don Muang", is the busiest airport in Southeast Asia. This airport host many
international and domestic flights from all over the world.

There are many travel agents that offer cheap flights to various destinations in Bangkok. Bangkok has a network of sky-trains, which were introduced to ease the infamous traffic jams in the city. Sky-Train was introduced in 1999 and was also known as the BTS system and Rot-fi-fa in Thai. Two more metros are used in Bangkok by people to start with, viz. Underground MRTA subway and another elevated line are known as BERTS.

The nightlife of Bangkok has a stormy and noisy attitude. But at the same time, it is calm, comfortable, and enjoyable. Bangkok's mixed nightlife features everything from great live music to delightful jazz clubs, ultra-cool bars, energetic and upbeat dance spots, and huge restaurants. It is rapidly establishing itself as the quiet nightlife capital of Asia.

The best part about shopping in Bangkok is that even after the malls are closed, you can shop in a bunch of small markets that open with the first glare of the sun and remain open till
midnight. Bangkok and Thailand have become good shopping centers in Asia because of the high quality and low prices offered with lots of variety. Duty-free purchases can be made at the Thailand Duty-Free Shops Company branch at the World Trade Center on Ratchadamri Road.
