Digestive problems in children

by Emma Truong Content Marketer
Kids grow extremely fast in the first years of their life. The digestive system plays an important system in this development. The fewer problems this system has, the better a child can grow.

- Vomit

This is the most common symptom in children. They can vomit accidentally, after they eat, while they cry, or while they cough. If vomit only occurs once or twice, there is no need to worry.

Nevertheless, excessive vomit can make children difficult to absorb food and cause dehydration. So if you see your child vomit too much, you should take him to the hospital immediately.

- Diarrhea

When children have watery stools more than 3 times a day, they are considered to contract diarrhea. The most dangerous thing about this disease is dehydration.

- Abdominal pain

This is also a common sign of digestive problems. Children can feel incredibly uncomfortable when having this.

- Constipation

In contrast to diarrhea, constipation makes children difficult to go to stools. If they go to stools less than 3 times a week and the stools are hard as well as lumpy, they are likely to have constipation.

The best solutions to prevent digestive problems

- Clean your child's hands, feet, wash their toys, and make sure the environment sanitary

- Provide sufficient nutrients for children

- Provide vegetables, fruits, vitamins, and necessary nutrients

- Encourage your child to do exercises and play sports
