Prithvi Shaw Captain of Mumbai running in amazing form. Shaw scored another 150+ to take Mumbai to the Vijay Hazare Trophy final. Shaw hit 165 runs in just 122 balls. Thanks to this innings, Mumbai scored 322 runs. In response, the Karnataka team fell behind by 72 runs from the target. Mumbai will face UP in the final. UP beat Gujarat by five wickets in the second semi-final.

Earlier Mumbai lost to the first batting after losing the toss and it did not start well. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal disposed of cheaply. But the second opener Shaw continued his tough form. In his innings of 165 runs, 17 fours and seven sixes, Joot Shaw brought Mumbai to a big score.

This was Shaw's second and fourth consecutive centuries in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Earlier, he has played 185 not out against Saurashtra, 227 not out against Puducherry and 105 not out against Delhi. Shaw's 185 runs against Saurashtra is the highest score by any Indian batsman in a successful chase of any List A match. He broke the record of Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virat Kohli. Both of them had scored 183 runs.



In reply, Devdutt Padikkal played another amazing innings for Karnataka. But his Pachasa was not enough to save the match. No batsman could survive the second end. Giants like Manish Pandey and Karun Nair failed. For Mumbai, Tushar Deshpande, Prashant Solanki, Tanush Kotian and Shams Mulani took 2-2 wickets.

In the second semi-final, Gujarat captain Priyank Panchal won the toss and decided to bat first. But his decision proved completely wrong. Barring Hate Patel (60 runs) and Piyush Chawla (32 runs), no batsman could stand in front of the Bollers of UP. Gujarat's entire team was reduced to 184 runs.

For UP, Yash Dayal took three wickets while Aqib Khan took two wickets. Shivam Sharma and Akshdeep Nath got one wicket each. In response, UP won the match as soon as 44 balls were left. Akshdeep Nath scored the highest 71 runs. He was also elected the Player of the Match.
