China becomes the world's largest producer of magnesium oxide

 During the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, China's magnesium oxide industry showed a booming trend. With the development of China's industry in recent years, magnesium oxide production began to increase. During the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, the annual growth rate of magnesium oxide production remained above 20%, much higher than the global average. After a five-year plan, China became the world's largest producer of magnesium oxide.

According to the statistics of the Magnesium Oxide Committee, there are about a thousand magnesium oxide enterprises in the country. The Magnesium Oxide Committee has carried out statistics on more than 100 representative enterprises. The annual output exceeds 10,000 tons. The large magnesia enterprise headed by Hebei Meishen Technology Co., Ltd.  accounts for nearly 50% of the total output; More than 20 magnesium oxide plants in the 3000-8000 tons, accounting for about 30% of the total output; more than 40 manufacturers with a production of 1000-2800 tons, accounting for 10%; more than 30 manufacturers with a production of less than 1000 tons The output is only 40,000 tons, accounting for less than 5% of the total output.

At present, there is still a certain gap between China's magnesium oxide and foreign products, mainly in the single variety. The technical strength of developing new products is relatively weak. Most products can only compete in a low-grade order, and are relatively passive in responding to international environmental regulations. During the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” period, the magnesium oxide industry should enhance its competitiveness from the technical link on the one hand, and strengthen communication with the upstream raw material industry on the other hand to jointly meet the requirements of international environmental protection directives and ecological safety standards to get rid of the big but not strong. The situation, adapt to the needs of the market in the future.
