You may find it strange that you do not recall ever visiting this website, yet your browser constantly redirects you to it. In case that CDN.DOUBLEVERIFY.COM is found on your computer, you will immediately notice that there are ads all over your browser. This is not really unusual, as CDN.DOUBLEVERIFY.COM is simply a platform which is used for mediating ads and submitting deceptive messages. Also, your web sessions will be controlled by the installed hijacker. All this content is gathered and thrust into your browser by a malicious program which has managed to penetrate your PC. The program to which CDN.DOUBLEVERIFY.COM belongs is an adware provider. This is why it will immediately flood the whole browser with pop-up ads and banners. There are several ways for unwanted software to make its way in. The most common and often preferred tactic is traveling in bundles with freeware. It will use them not only to advertise products available at third-party sites, but also to increase the traffic to these pages. If you are not cautious about what kind of programs you install to your computer, you may encounter a malevolent tool as a result of the installation. This can happen without your knowledge, as additional tools are often automatically selected to be installed together with the main program from the bundle. As the main aim of this hijacker is to generate revenue for its creators, it may overlook the reliability of some pages. You need to notice and deselect them to block their entrance. This is how users may land on compromised websites or pages which are created to spread computer infections. Corrupted websites and links, including advertisements, are another easy penetration method which requires just a single click.
