CBD Infused Drinks is Taking Over the CBD Market

by Robert J. Cannabinoid Researcher

The CBD industry is ever-expanding, and recently CBD infused drinks are gaining popularity. An increasing number of brands are taking advantage of this opportunity. The ATACH or American Trade Association for Cannabis and Hemp created a Cannabis Beverage Council that connects the beverage industry and cannabis industry, forming acceptable policies in the United States.

CBD Infused Drinks - Budding Markets and Unique Offers

Producers use various methods for a variety of beverage products, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, on a global scale. Green Herbal Care is an emerging Texas brand offering premium CBD drinks to its customers. CannaWine, a Spanish company, became well-known around the world after breaking into the Californian market with its CBD wine. Oh CBD Beer, Young Master Brewery, and, most recently, Yardley Brothers all provide CBD craft beers in Hong Kong. In addition, as the trend toward healthy living grows, non-alcoholic CBD beer is becoming more popular, thus CERIA Brewing Company, the manufacturers of the non-alcoholic craft beer produced by Blue Moon in 2020, now sells it on Amazon.

Products containing CBD must have a maximum amount of 20mg in the developing South African market, which opened up following the legalization of cannabis for personal consumption in September 2018. The rule was established in May 2019, when the minister of health issued a 12-month "exemption notice" allowing non-prescription access to certain cannabidiol (CBD) products. CBD infused drinks became a legal product in the country after more adjustments were made early in 2020. Following these advances, Distell, a South African wine, cider, and spirits company, recently announced that it will soon be able to provide CBD-infused drinks after purchasing a 20% investment in cannabis wellness company RETHINK.

The Limitations

The US is perhaps one of the few places that sees CBD as a regular element for many people o consume. While the Democrats' election victory in the United States has fueled prospects of federal legalization, which would give the business a boost, European companies are tied to the European Commission's unique food legislation and its certification process. According to the New Frontier Data study, 23% of CBD customers in the EU have already tried a CBD-infused beverage.

Green Monkey was the first to enter the market with their fizzy CBD drink when the UK was still a member of the EU, Marley Mellow debuted CBD-infused tea, and Humphrey's offered CBD-infused fruit juices. The first spring water enriched with CBD hemp droplets in the amount of 2mg was released by Love Hemp. Dutch Courage CBD beverages from Botanic Lab are now available in ordinary supermarkets in the United Kingdom. While Green Herbal Care is yet to take its CBD infused drinks to the mainstream market, its growing popularity and customer base may make it possible soon.
