Cars - We Have Come Along Way Baby!

by Sean Thomas Webmaster

In the nineteen seventies we thought that our gas source might be at an all time low. We started to conserve but other than driving less and filling up every other day,we had no real solid plans to stop the gas crisis we found ourselves in the middle of.

Now we are trying to live greener and as part of that green lifestyle we are making a choice to take a serious look at our gas situation and other forms of fuel. We might be far from driving a model that has zero-emissions and we might not have the latest hybrid car but the truth is, we are looking for better gas mileage and other fuel sources.

Even if we are not doing so directly, our car manufacture is doing it for us.More and more car manufactures are looking to rely on fossil fuel less and less and looking into other fuel development more and more. These car companies are using a great deal of their profits and maybe even government money to develop and maintain the cars of the future.

If we were to compare the cars of the nineteen seventies and early nineteen eighties to a vehicle of today we would find that cars are much 'greener' and 'cleaner' than those of the past.

These cars of the future and the fuels of the future take both time and money to research and develop. That being said, have no doubts, they will be developed. It is not too far away, we already have hybrids and other forms of vehicles that are environmentally sound compared to the cars of yesteryear.

In the not so 'far out' future we will see cars that run on non fossil fuel. As for our car development, we have come a long way baby! I feel it is important to realize that more and more car makers are seeing the ever growing needs that new car consumers are having to deal with.

I am not sure that every car maker has solved the issues and leveled the playing field as to how to make the cars more green friendly however. I see that there is more and more demand for these and other products to be green and it is the way of the future.

It only takes a small part of us pulling together to do our part and save the planet as best we can.
