Cardboard Box- The Multipurpose Box

I have seen children playing with cardboard boxes and I have also seen people using cardboard boxes for some other purposes as well, rather than packaging. Certainly, cardboard boxes are the multipurpose boxes. It’s also a matter of fact that there are some other kinds of boxes in market as well, but we only use cardboard boxes the most! Why? There is a science behind this. We cannot easily fold, reshape other boxes like iron boxes and plastic boxes. That’s why cardboard box is the best option for packaging as well as playing. I have spent my childhood in playing with toys and my favorites were cardboard-toys. I have always felt that we can make beautiful crafts and toys using cardboard boxes and there are many examples of it. How good it’s that we can buy, use, reuse and, then play with cardboard boxes. It’s not the end, people have used cardboard boxes in gardens, homes, offices for multipurpose.

The Basic purpose
Boxes are basically manufactured for packaging and main purpose of a cardboard box is safety of stuff. There are various sizes of cardboard boxes available in market. It’s amazing that we can use these boxes to pack our small-small stuff and huge bulky things like a Freezer as well. It’s in everyone’s reach as cardboard boxes are affordable. These are manufactured using paper-type material, which is made up of some wooden material. Cardboard boxes can be classified as-
•    Single wall boxes
•    Double wall boxes
•    Office boxes
•    Insulated boxes
•    A variety of cardboard boxes are manufactured each day all over the world. There are many trailblazer companies in this industry that are selling cardboard boxes from years and one example is Smurfit Kappa Direct. One thing I have seen that these companies give high discount if someone buys cardboard boxes in bulk. Cardboard boxes are useful in home moving. It doesn’t take much time to pack things in these boxes. We can unpack the stuff easily, and then we can unfold and store boxes wherever we want in our house or office. Labeling of these boxes would be convenient and the good thing is that it’s quite easy to mark on cardboard boxes.

One of the most beautiful crafts made by using cardboard boxes for me would be a cardboard-train. It always allures me. I have seen many cardboard-trains of different sizes and colors. All of them were incredible. There is one friend of mine in my neighborhood and he has a nine years old child. The child makes something with cardboard boxes every day. His toys are the boxes. It reminds me of my childhood memories, I have played, folded, broken, painted cardboard boxes in my childhood. I wasn’t actually as good as the nine years old child is. Once, I got an opportunity to see his room and I was absolutely stunned when I saw his creations. The cardboard-pumpkin he had made was fabulous. I felt that why not we all give some boxes to our children for some creativity. It’s affordable and harmless. Companies are manufacturing Eco-friendly cardboard boxes these days. Hence, there would be no problem with these boxes.

Cardboard painting is a hobby of some people. Some of them are great at this work. I have seen some beautiful cardboard paintings. A cardboard cupboard, table, covers, etc. are some more examples of use of cardboard boxes in our life which makes these boxes Multipurpose.
