Can Martial Arts classes make you superhuman?

Let’s explore how we can use martial arts as a vehicle to become the best version of ourselves - physically and mentally.

What is the purpose of Martial arts classes? are they just to lose weight? build a muscular body? are they just for recreation to enjoy building a new skill set and an art form? are we learning self protection?

It is all these things and simultaneously it is much much more. The essence of martial arts means is “organising combat” “organising violence” and that phenomena, that act of taking this raw animal energy and giving it a structure is a sacred act!

If we go back in history long enough to when we were emerging and turning from monkeys to humans one of our most important things which led to us being the number one species on the planet was that we were able to “organise violence”. There are animals on this planet far bigger than us and far more powerful than us yet we became the dominant species. This is because we were able to use our mind, plan, coordinate and optimise our strategies of violence.

So when you are enrolling yourself in martial arts classes in Delhi you’re literally choosing to dance with this ancient sacred energy and that is why the possibilities that can come out of this is infinite.

You not only develop yourself physically but also mentally. You become confident, fearless and dynamic.

In many martial arts systems it is mandatory for somebody who is practising to learn first-aid and healing techniques also because there is a old principle that if you learn how to damage somebody you must also know how to heal them, so now you’re not just a warrior but a healer also!

You see how the world of martial arts encompasses so much?

Then there is more, you become a warrior, a healer but also a magician!… A magician because you learn how to play with your body’s energies in ways you couldn’t even imagine. You learn how to meditate, you learn how to breathe, you learn how to flow. 

All in all, you can transform your entire life by practising martial arts seriously. As you start to learn the way of the warrior, the healer and the magician… you learn several universal principles, moral codes, ethics and more. These shape you into a force of nature and make you capable of impacting the world in meaningful ways. You are able to create the life that you want.

Martial arts classes will begin by teaching you how to conquer yourself and they will go on to give you the ability to conquer the world. Or said another way, once you’ve conquered yourself, you won’t need to conquer the world, it will bow to you.
