Sometimes, during the working hours whether you are in home/office, all of a sudden, your wireless router shows no Internet connection. In that situation, you need to follow the given steps:-
Check your WAN and LAN settings –Verify that your ethernet cable is properly connected. Try to set apart the ethernet cable, if it's damaged. To make sure whether you are using right cable or not, check out your access point or router manual.
- Verify access point and router settings –Utilize wireless access point, or the graphical user interface to verify network settings. Also, give a name of SSID to which you will connect.
- Verify wireless adapter – The wifi adapter that is used for network troubleshooting must be enabled and ready to connect.
TCP/IP Settings – For this, open the control panel and then move to network settings. Next, select the wireless adapter. If you
see that status is still disabled, switch to the next step. If the status is displaying “not connected”, then choose your network’s SSID and tap on “CONNECT”.
- Ensure that the radius is working –
WPA and WPA2-Enterprise log the client into the network and deliver encryption keys with the help of an 802.1X-capable RADIUS server. If you don't owe a RADIUS server, consult this tip.
- Check intermittent network connectivity problems–
At last, if your wireless client connects and pings successfully, but faces irregular network connectivity issues (for example, some pings work, some fail), it could be a matter of poor signal strength, RF interference, or disconnection caused by AP roaming.
