Black HR Professional National Conference In Baltimore: Reserve Tickets

As a black HR professional himself, Anthony says that the latest partnership highlights the new vision statement of HR Certified: to increase diversity within corporate HR departments nationwide through gaining attraction and upskilling efforts. Anthony believes that it’s only by meeting employees where they are can businesses do better.

Anthony talks about this further in a special podcast with Tamiko Drummond and her Cup of Resilience series. The episode, called, “Overcoming Your Giant: How to Succeed against the Odds” talks about how a professional of color can defy the odds and contribute to a noticeable change in their respective industry.

He will expound on this, and what he hopes to accomplish with NAAAHR, at the association's National Conference. The event, themed “The Future of HR & DEI: People, Power, and Process”, will provide a venue for black human resources professionals to talk about their experiences and what can be done for opening more opportunities to their fellow professionals. The national conference will take place from the 23rd of May to the 28th of May at the Hilton Inner Harbor Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland.
