Benefits of Full Time MBA over Part Time MBA

When it comes to management courses, the entrance tests that most of the Indian students are aware of are the CAT and CMAT. The CAT is the common admission test while the CMAT stands for the common management admission test. These two tests have been pioneering the needs of good students by the colleges over the past years. Once a candidate gets a valid score in either of the examinations, they can get through a college of their wish, of course depending on the availability of the seats. However over the years several modes have developed which provide a MBA degree such as the distance course, executive courses or the most famous mode off late the online courses. There are different schools of thoughts when it comes to getting a MBA degree, but the online courses fall behind the real courses in quite a few aspects.

For an instance for the MBA courses provided at the colleges the candidates have to get through several steps such as the written tests followed by the group discussions and personal interviews. The same is not applicable for the online courses, which means that the candidates need not bother themselves with exams such as CAT or CMAT. There are quite a few advantages of full time MBA over the part time MBA. For an instance management is all about honing up and inculcating different skills but the same is not possible in the part time courses. Many students even claim they did not get sufficient item to be part of good projects in the part time courses. Networking and building up of connection is an integral part of management and the scope for the same is reduced to a great degree when it comes to the online courses or the part time MBA courses.

Though the part time courses have their own advantages such as they are affordable and people can do the same while working as well. However the disadvantages of part time courses are well superseded by the advantages of the same. All this indicates that a MBA course seems to be incomplete without the competition of the CAT or the CMAT examination and the other selection processes. To add on to that there are much more scopes for the students when it comes to full time course as compared to the part time MBA courses and thus the later must be avoided if it can be.
