Azure: A beginner's guide

by Vikas Yadav marketing

Azure is a cloud computing platform developed by Microsoft. It allows individuals and businesses to build, deploy, and manage applications and services through Microsoft's global network of data centers. With Azure, you can leverage the power of the cloud to run your applications and store your data. In this beginner's guide, we will go over the basics of getting started with Azure.

First, you'll need to create an Azure account. You can sign up for a free trial account that gives you access to many Azure services for 30 days. After the free trial, you can choose to upgrade to a paid subscription to continue using Azure.

Once you have an Azure account, you can log in to the Azure portal. The portal is a web-based interface that allows you to manage your Azure resources. You can create virtual machines, databases, and storage accounts, among other things.

Before you start using Azure, you should have a basic understanding of the different Azure services available. Azure offers a wide range of services, including:

  1. Virtual machines - These are like physical computers that run in the cloud. You can create virtual machines with different operating systems and configurations.

  2. Storage - Azure offers several types of storage, including Blob storage, File storage, and Queue storage. You can use Azure storage to store and manage your data in the cloud.

  3. Databases - Azure offers several database services, including SQL Database, Cosmos DB, and Azure Database for PostgreSQL. These services allow you to store and manage your data in a structured way.

  4. App services - Azure App Service allows you to build, deploy, and manage web and mobile applications in the cloud.

  5. Networking - Azure offers several networking services, including Virtual Network, Load Balancer, and VPN Gateway. These services allow you to connect your Azure resources to each other and to your on-premises infrastructure. Also check Azure Course in Delhi
