South Africa take on Australia on Saturday, November 14.

The match kicks off at 4.05pm in the UK - 5.05pm in South Africa and 1.05am on Sunday in Sydney. AUS v SA Rugby

It is being played at Emirates Airline Park - more commonly known as Ellis Park, Johannesburg.

Off the back of their worst season since 1958, the Wallabies arrived in Johannesburg looking to make an impression and build “momentum” heading into the World Cup.

The turning point of the match was clearly the card shown to Tupou, who was controversially sent to the bin by New Zealand referee Paul Williams for a “late” and “dangerous” cleanout after the Wallabies had been a split second earlier given a scrum feed after a collapsed maul, in the 54th minute.

Although fractionally late, the cleanout attempt wasn’t high and the right-arm attempted to rap.

Wallabies coach Michael Cheika slammed the decision.

The Springbooks had until tonight (AEDT) to decide if they will compete in this year’s tournament in Australia but body SANZAAR has now granted them another 48 hours.
