Amrita University 2014 Entrance Exam

The Application form will be released on 16 December 2013. The interested candidates may fill the form either online or offline. The candidates will be appearing for the admission in under-graduate program in various courses in Amrita University. The candidate will be considered only if he/she meets the eligibility criteria defined for Amrita University 2014.

Amrita University 2014 Eligibility Criteria

The Date of birth on or after the month of July 1993 is acceptable.

High school qualification of class XII exam or equivalent with minimum 55% individually in Physics, Math and Chemistry and 60% collectively in these subjects, will be required.

Or diploma in engineering by recognizes Board, with minimum aggregate of 60% marks.

Amrita University 2014 Application Form

Application Forms will be available from 16 December 2013.

The sale of the form will end on 21 March 2014.

The last date to receive the form is 24 March 2014.

By Post

The interested candidate must request for the Application Form by sending an envelope with self address to the University with the Demand Draft of the amount of Application Fee (Rs.1000/-), to the address: The Admission Co-ordinator, Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, (P.O) Amritanagar, Ettimadai, Coimbatore - 641112, Tamil Nadu.

The University will then send an Application form to the candidate on the address of candidate.

In Person

The candidate may buy the Application form directly from any of the campus of the Amrita University. The candidate must pay Rs.1000/- at the cash counter to get the Application Form.

From Sale Centers

The Amrita University Application Forms will also be available at various sale centers authorized by the universities to sale the Application Form. These centers may be at the post office or banks.

Online

The Applicant may download the Application Form from the official website www.amrita.edu.

The candidate must fill the print out of the Application form according to the instructions provided.

After properly filling the Application Form the candidate must send the Application form with the Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- to the following address:

Amrita University 2014 Exam Pattern

The Entrance Exam for Amrita University will contain questions from three subjects according to following details:

Subject Weightage

Math 50

Physics 35

Chemistry 35

The duration of exam will be three hours. Negative marking for wrong answers will be done.

Amrita University 2014 Counselling

Counselling for the seat allotment to the suitable candidates under Amrita University will be held in the month of May or June 2014. After declaration of result of the Amrita University 2014 Entrance exam, the merit list will be created and ranks will be allotted to the candidates. The candidates who will successfully clear the cutoff marks set by the University will be called for the counselling.

The candidates will be sent call letter for counselling. The counselling will be held simultaneously at all the campus of the University. Original documents of candidate will also be verified during counselling.
