Dr. US Awasthi is the MD and CEO of Indian Farmers Fertilizers Coop Ltd, (IFFCO) an organization producing good fertilizer, which gains enormous popularity among Indian farmers. IFFC has begun a journey helping crore of Indian farmers who now earn a good livelihood exploring a better lifestyle. Besides handling the IFFCO activities he also participates in boards of other global companies that give him a global identity.

Awasthi’s Achievements

Because of his good works he received manifold awards and honors that give him the inspiration to work more in fertilizer industry improving Indian agriculture. He is originally a chemical engineer from Banaras Hindu University having 5 decades of experience that makes him a popular personality, especially for the farmers. Society of Environment & Agricultural Advancement also honored him with Uttar Pradesh Gaurav Award that’s his another achievement. He was the one to receive Honorary Fellowship of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (I.I.Ch.E) and it happened during the Indian Chemical Engineering Congress (Chemcon - 2001), which was held at Chennai. Next, Institute of Chemical Engineers also honored him with Golden Jubilee Award that’s one of his greatest achievements in life. He also received distinguished alumni awards that helped to go ahead with a better performance. Thus, he is a successful chemical engineer that gives him the opportunity to come out with better works.

US Awasthi is a dedicated professional in the fertilizer industry and he comes out with all new strategies improving the agricultural status of the country. He also shows a keen interest in arts and he is a famous follower of paintings. Thus he is also a creative person along with his scientific approaches revealing his identity in different ways. His taste of arts comes out as a different one and he reveals his talent in a new way.

He also serves as Center for Management in Agriculture as an active member that gives him a new recognition in the agricultural field.
