A Little View About Plug and Sluice Valve

Plug Valve

The stainless steel plug valve affects the opening or closing device. A characteristic part of the valve is the body of the rotating plug through a hole running perpendicular to the axis of the pipeline. The plug housing is activated by a valve stem to achieve sealing performance.

In fact, hexagonal valves have long been developed and used in various industries. With a simple and compact structure, fast operation and low fluid resistance, these types of valves are very popular and made by the professional plug valve manufacturers. The valve body, which is often conical (including the cylinder), cooperates with the conical surface of the valve seat to create excellent sealing surfaces.

Materials such as cast iron, cast iron, stainless steel, hardened chromium molybdenum or copper are commonly used in the manufacture of the valve body. The adoption of Wã € F or T for the production of sealing surfaces greatly increases the versatility and performance of the valve. In addition, several efforts have been made to improve sealing and service life. For example, a specially prepared grease is inserted from the top of the body to the point between the opening and the body. This helps create a film to reduce friction.

At this point, the plug valve can be folded, welded or connected to the clamp connection. The worm gear can be used to drive the valve. According to the channel, the valves can be classified into direct type, 3-way and 4-way types. Whatever it is, the valve itself is available to control water, oil, gas, natural gas, some acids, and so on. To improve performance, care must be taken with regular installation and maintenance. It should be noted that the plug valve cannot be used to regulate the flow.

Sluice Valve

The valves can be accessed in different modes as described above. Different types of valves have different features and meanings. Gate valves, also known as sluice valve, are mainly used to control water or any type of liquid through a pipe or drain. When these valves are turned on, the shut-off device moves up and down to stop the flow of fluid. It is widely used in many places, including homes, factories, large industries, hotels, factories, mega projects, residences, and so on.

Wedge Valve: One of the best known and most widely used inlet valve configurations includes a two-seat inclined wedge and baffle door.

Uniform valves: These are often used to properly control water progress, which is another classification of valves. Accordingly, there are two identical seats with a chain aligned in the center of the seats to control the flow of water. Both seats are located equally above and below to control the flow of water through the walkway and canals.

Stem valve height: A typical configuration includes a valve stem identified by a round handle attached to the valve stem. When the handle is turned on, the shaft raises and the valve opens. To close the valve, the handle can be removed again to break the shaft. It is not difficult to tell with the mounting rod whether the valve is open or closed.

Non-ascending stem valves: Unlike ascending stem valves, ascending valve valves cannot be determined by looking at the position of the stem. The trunk of these things does not appear or slip, as the name suggests, it is very useful in places where space is limited. It is mainly used in underground areas and mines. It is opened by turning the knob to one side and moving to one side to close it. Because there is only one body in a non-riser riser, these valves are very easy to operate.
