A Comfortable Bed will ensure your Good Health

by Lewis Taylor Business Manager

We have come a long way since the old times of long ago when our ancestors used to have beds that were made up of neatly and comfortably arranged grass and hay.  Our ancestors did not have the luxury of sleeping on a comfortable mattress like the ones that we have today.  These days we have a wide variety of mattresses that range from the most basic spring, coil and foam to the most luxurious mattresses that recline and have adjustable temperature settings.  This article shall briefly explain why it is important to buy a comfortable and explain why this is good for your health.

Sleeping is an important activity that has benefits for our mental, physical and emotional health.  Doctors and health experts all over the world agree that an adult human being requires roughly eight hours of sleep each and every single day.  It is of little consequence whether we choose to sleep during the day or during the night.  All that matters is that we fit in the recommended hours of sleep.  When we go for a period of time without sleep we accumulate what is known as a “sleep debt”.  Sleep debt refers to the difference between the amount of sleep we should be receiving and the actual amount of sleep that we are getting.  For example, if we only receive four hours of sleep instead of the recommended eight hours of sleep in a night, we accumulate a sleep debt of four hours.  It is not recommended that one continues to function and work whilst owing a large debt to your bed.

Doctors and health professionals all over the world also agree that an individual that has gone for twenty four hours without sleep is comparable to an individual who has consumed a large quantity of alcohol.  They tend to be clumsy, forgetful and confused.  They are unable to think effectively.  However, these symptoms quickly disappear after catching up with some valuable sleep.

When we sleep on our beds, toxins that accumulate while we are awake are flushed from our brains.  Sleep plays a sort of housekeeping role in our brains.  That is why when we wake up from a nap we feel energized and rejuvenated.  Gone are the old days when it was assumed that the most productive members of society are those who sleep late and wake up very early.  It is now well understood that the schedule of any successful individual balances sleep within their plans

In conclusion it is important to buy a quality bed and sleep comfortably.  Good sleep reduces stress therefore improves your health.  These days one can make a quick search online for “beds for sale” in your own area and select a bed that suites your personal needs.  It is easier than ever before to find beds for sale in your area.
