3 Secrets to Finding the Best Honda Dealers in Sydney
by Kevin Smith AuthorLook for a Good Rep in Customer Service
Dealerships will get a general reputation that's often based
on the overall experience, but what you want to hunt for specifically is their
customer service rep. In the end, that controls everything else.
A dealership that thinks the customer is king and wants to please them will
find the vehicles you want, make a good faith effort to give you a deal, give
you good value for your trade-in, offer you more financing options, work with
you to make things right if something's wrong with your car after you buy it:
the list goes on. Customer service is the foundation for a good experience in every
other respect.
Look for a Good Range of Cars
When space is at a premium, as it sometimes is in Sydney,
you want a dealership with plenty of inventory so you can find what you're
looking for. This is even more important if you're looking for a used car, as a
larger lot means more choice for you within your price range.
If you have your eye on a CRV for the family, for instance, a great dealer
could have as many as 30 options for you to choose from, so it becomes that
much easier to find the colour you want, the interior that's right for your
family size, the safety features that make sense for your driving habits: even
the transmission you prefer.
Look for a Service Centre
You always want to buy from a Honda dealer with a service
centre if at all possible. There are a couple of reasons for this. First, a
service department means they have factory-trained Honda servicing technicians
on hand. This means any used vehicles have gotten the best possible care and
service, and any parts that were worn were replaced with genuine Honda parts.
Second, you have options for making some deals. Want to extend your warranty?
What if you can negotiate a deal where you get some free oil changes or tyre
rotations? You never know, but your options open up at a dealer: plus you know
they have an incentive to negotiate in your favour on the purchase since they'd
like to keep your business in their service centre.
Finally, a service department means you're more like to get fast, responsive
action if there's a problem after purchase.
If you're in the market for Honda
cars in Sydney, look for the best dealers by checking customer service
reputation and finding a dealer with plenty of stock to choose from and a
service department.
