3 Reasons Why Your Friends Should Also Go Vegan

by Vegan Culinary Cruises Luxury – All Inclusive – All Vegan
Celebrities, athletes and other famous people are doing it, and you're doing it—is it time for your friends to do the same? More and more people are being made aware of the benefits of veganism, and it's making the world a happier and kinder place to live in.

Half of the American population admitted their willingness to reduce their meat consumption. Now if you’ve still got friends that are not vegan, this is not a list of statements you could shove down their throats to convince them to turn into vegans.

The following are merely reasons why being a vegan is an awesome way of life that you could share with them. Before you take baby steps and share delicious vegetarian recipes with them, here are some reasons why you should share your veganism to your friends.

Kindness and Compassion

You and your friends have a connection that is running on mutual respect, kindness, and compassion. You may give each other a hard time sometimes, but everything turns out fine when you realize that they are still the best people you've ever met. Veganism believes that kindness never hurt anybody.

Caring for all sentient beings is not only a vegan thing, but it should also be a thing among humans. Cruelty is something that should never be advertised with happy cartoon animals, surely there must be a better way.

Heart For the Environment

Along with the kindness we extend to sentient beings is the heart we should have for the world we live in. The amount of production value that goes into the production of goods for meat industries is only dragging the condition of our planet down.

A significant percentage of man-made pollution that is furthering the harmful activities done towards the Earth comes from meat industries.

Producing one pound of burger patty is equivalent to 75 kilograms of CO2 emissions, that's the same amount of emissions your car gives out if you use it for three weeks straight.

You Can Get Fit

The continuous digestion of meat and dairy leaves the body tired. One of the most basic lessons in grade school science is the energy cycle—vegetables and greens are producers with the highest energy content, and the deeper you go into the cycle, the fewer energy you get. A vegan diet can actually give you more energy.

More energy means you could do more in your workouts. The best of trainers would agree that plant-based foods are wellsprings of protein and nutrients.

If those aren't enough reasons to convince your friends to adopt a vegan lifestyle, then you can take them on vegan river cruises where they can see the world and enjoy the best of onboard vegan cuisine.
