3 Key Items for Fall Fashion

It’s Labor Day, and time to start focusing on fall fashion.  This includes changing over your closet to include items you can layer over lighter weight garments on those cool mornings and evenings.  The good thing is-you already have them in your closet. Look for button down blouses, as well as cotton and light-weight cardigans.  Use these as jackets over women long sleeve t shirts and tank tops.  Pull on some cute booties or full-length boots with summer skirts and dresses.  This can make an edgier statement, as well as keep you a little warmer when it starts cooling down.

Jackets

Blazers are still huge this fall. Different textures are beginning to be seen- velvet, velour, silk and cotton blends. Colors are still huge, especially jewel tones and deep, rich colors. Three quarter to full sleeves are most popular. Leather jackets are also coming back into style. Many will be faux leather and will have many zippers or fur accents. Mix up your wardrobe with a women's jackets in a fun color! They pair well with jeans in any wash.

Long Dresses

Dresses and skirts are not only for spring and summer.  If you have any sundress or skirt in a dark color or pattern you can easily throw on a pair of opaque tights or knee-high stockings for an autumn feel.  Then, just add a pair of boots or lace-up oxfords and a sweater, and you will have a practically brand new outfit for nothing.  Look for knee to above the knee cuts in pinks, blues, purples and neutral colors. Bright colors are still in; but floral prints and lighter colors are also big.
