Could this be MY eureka moment?

by Hannam Wakelin Computer Technician

Question: Has anybody  ever used Platinum Arts Sandbox 2+ (attempting) to make their very own video game?

Well I have recently downloaded it, as it's 100% free, is very easy to download, is easy to install, contains no viruses or adware, easy to run and learn, if you find good tutorials

(try Youtube).

What I like about it is you can create a new map, and make it from 10-19. 10's average for most games, and 19 is massive. Your map can be virtually endless. Meaning you can walk for ages and not fall off the edge or hit an invisible wall, called a "clip", which  prevents a game player, from venturing beyond a map. I really want to make a 3D game with new concepts, but I don't believe I have the natural talent, and/or the necessary skills to complete it. But I will continue to try!

So I left the default music on Platinum on my computer to run while I had a much needed nap.I really believe that sometimes you need one for clarity. And it really works. So I came up with what I believe is a revolutionary idea! For obvious reasons, I just can't reveal all my secrets here, but will share some as I really need feedback  -  views on how everyone else feels about it!

My unique idea could boost tourism locally and internationally, cut down or halve shop theft, and make shopping totally fun online! Going to a website and using your credit card to pay for an item is common, and to me, kind of boring. I want to make shopping online, much more fun! My idea may cut down or halve tourist accidents, attacks, or muggings by half! And it could help Police warn people about "hot" areas in cities.

But, I will be honest, it will take a lot of time, thinking, planning, trial and error, teamwork, and learning skills. As I am not a naturally talented animator, or business guru. I am disillusioned with trying to make money online, and feel it may not be my forte. Even a Astrologically based horoscope site I joined up with has stated, one of my problems may be trying to do things I have no skill or talent in. Or things which are just too way above my head. It suggest that I  need to get out of the fantasy, and into the realistic.  And stop being the dog continually chasing his tail.

And later on, it may take a series of secured servers, and expert server technicians and security  to hold all the data etc.All things need money to complete and that too could be a major wall I'll hit. But I'll try my darndest to climb over it,around or under it!

And one problem with Platinum Arts Sandbox, to have characters in it, you need to use and create them in other software like Blender, 3D Max, or other gaming software. Then add them into your maps.

I need to know more about copyright, online and offline, international and local. And how to protect all my ideas from copycats or thieves. So please leave comments telling me what you really think about my ideas. They will be greatly appreciated!
