TreatFeed - Treat Feed $5.4 million in funding Make Money 4 levels deep

by Turbo Tycoon
TreatFeed, a newly launched social shopping application, has raised $5.4 million in funding led by Norwest Venture Partners.

TreatFeed, which is characterized as a ‘word of mouth’ rewards system, is the brainchild of HauteLook founders Brett Markinson and Konstantin Glasmacher, who recently sold the flash sales platform to Nordstrom for $270 million a few months ago. TreatFeed provides members with a way to benefit from their ‘word of mouth’ recommendations and turn them into rewards.

TreatFeed aggregates deals from retailers allows members earn rewards for sharing deals, and for the ongoing transactions of the people in their network. Users are essentially compensated for sharing in their social graph, or ‘social tree.’ Points can then be redeemed for products, exclusive offers and even converted into cash. TreatFeed makes money from affiliate fees.

Your Social Tree represents your 'word of mouth' network, allowing you to turn conversations into Points that can be redeemed for all sorts of great stuff, including cash!

A Social Tree is made up of 4 generations of your friends (Gen1) and their friends (Gen2/Gen3/Gen4). Every time someone in your Social Tree saves money at TreatFeed, you earn points. You'll literally earn Points in your sleep!

Don't wait - The earlier you start the bigger your network can be, and your earnings grow exponentially as your Social Tree grows. It's completely free, join now!

Here’s a hypothetical example. Say you join TreatFeed  and sign up via the site for a Netflix subscription. Let’s say TreatFeed might collect $10 for that signup as a commission. Just for signing up you’d get 34 percent ($3.40) back off your purchase.

Let’s say a friend of yours whom you invited to join TreatFeed signs up for Netflix. They’d get $3.40 off the purchase, and you’d collect $1.

Now a friend of your friend joins TreatFeed and signs up for NetFlix. They would get $3.40, your friend would collect $1, and you’d pocket 30 cents.

A friend of the friend of your friend signs up? You’d still get 20 cents.
Under the TreatFeed scheme, your “Social Tree” can be up to four generations wide, with an unlimited number of friends in each one. Every time one of them makes a purchase via TreatFeed -- even if you didn’t recommend it -- you collect something.
