Can Exercise Slow Down the Ageing Process?

by JOSEPH CHACKERY Officer

People hate growing old!  It is common knowledge that with the advance in age the normal functions of the body tends to decline.

Research shows that people who are more physically active and do moderate exercise frequently have cells that look younger than those who do not do any exercise.  Exercising gives us a clear cut simple solution for anti-ageing for those who are prepared to put the effort in.

Exercise keeps your body strong and fit; your joints supple, your body firmer and slimmer and keeps your complexion glowing and smooth. The brain automatically releases Human Growth Hormone (HGH) the hormone responsible for keeping you youthful and controlling the body?s growth and development. Exercise also stimulates good memory function. Exercise is scientifically proven to protect the health and functioning of the brain.

More physical activity can increase a person?s lifespan by up to 25%. Those who exercised regularly and took part in activities such as jogging, cycling and swimming had a much lower death rate than those who either took no exercise and had a more sedentary lifestyle, or those who took part in less intense activities such as bowling, strolling or golfing.

As we age our protection systems against free radicals and other harmful environmental factors become less and less effective When we are younger, our body can shield us from most of the effects and work hard to combat these harmful molecules but once we are older, our body loses its ability and we become less and less resistant to free radical damage. Good nutrition and frequent exercise can help to rectify the damage caused and helps to reduce the loss of our body?s free radical fighting antioxidant systems.

It has been well known for years that there is nothing which comes close to HGH in its restorative powers. As the natural supply of the HGH hormone dwindles, the body very gradually starts to age, if the natural supply is restored the aging process will be slowed down and almost slightly reversed.

With six months of HGH treatment and regular exercise, the average mass gained by a healthy individual is around 12 pounds. Not only this, HGH improves the cardiovascular system and oxygen intake capacity of the body. On a day to day basis it can be seen that HGH supplements make a person fitter, stronger and happier.

There are various options from which to select an HGH supplement based on individual requirement. These are available online as well as over the counter at most stores.
