APSense new look and navigation, and a surprise for members

by Philippe Moisan Tutorial videos, sci-fi writer
Hi everyone,

Do you love the new look of APSense ?

Wincer worked very hard to improve, not just the look, but the navigation as well, to make us find things more easily, since, as you all know, there are more features here than FaceBook and Twitter combined. Ok,maybe I exaggerate a little. or do I ?

The main reason behind the new look is to attract more and more serious marketers.

Linked In is the best site for serious business people. We're not close to Linked In in terms of Alexa Ranking, but if we each become serious marketers, we will have more influence on the Internet in general and where we live. We will be able to help local businesses flourish.

Just a little bit here : Did you know that, a year ago, APSense had an Alexa Ranking of 45,000 ?

Right now, it's at 4,576. Now, that's impressive.  Within a year.

Imagine where we will be at the end of THIS year.

We can make it happen. All together. No spam, no abuse. Only legitimate, serious business opportunities.

I invite you all to join the Warrior Forum. It is by far the most popular Internet Marketing site on the planet. Alexa ranking : 399

For those of you who don't know what that means, Alexa measures the popularity of a site based on different factors, like traffic and back links.

399 means that, according to Alexa, there are only 398 sites more visited than the Warrior Forum in the world.

I'm about to put the APSense Guide at the Warrior Forum, as a WSO, i.e. a Warrior Special Offer. The WF members expect a product sold as a WSO to be a better offer than the reguler one found outside the WF.

I intend to make the price of the guide at $13 for the WSO. There's a catch : it is possible to create a WSO that makes the price increase little by little. I will find out how it works. Maybe it will be something like, the first 100 copies for $5, then the next 100 at $7, then $9, then $11, then final price $13 for a limited time. Yes, a WSO doesn't last forever.

Now you may ask, why join the Warrior Forum ? We are very comfortable at APSense. Don't worry, I'm not asking you to leave APSense. To the contrary. Let me explain.

There are very good reasons to join the Warrior Forum :
  • There are thousands of experienced marketers there. You will learn so much tips, tricks, read about copywriting, sales pages, awesome products for which the members give feedback, let me tell you, a product that is mentioned in the WF, it better be good, else its shelf life will be short, the members talk about the qualities of the products and also about the customer support when they have bought it, you also hear about the reputation of a marketer
  • Imagine if we APSense members flood the WF with questions and information, we will be noticed, some WF members will wonder what the fuss is about and come here, they will see there are thousands of Internet Marketers just like them, the level of spam is not much of an issue here thanks to the "report abuse" link, I'm convinced at least some WF members will see the potential
  • The arrival of WF members in greater and greater numbers, with links to their sites, and members of their lists following them here, all that will, you guessed it, help APSense get a better Alexa Ranking, so our sites will get more traffic from the search engines
Ok, I'm a dreamer. :) But I never talk about impossible things. My reality check gauge is never far away. I use common sense at all times.

If you decide to join the Warrior Forum, my friend Paul Nutty, a member here, pointed out that you can mention a referrer. If you choose me, my username is phmoisan there just like everywhere I go.

Back to the guide. Those who get it will be able to write good reviews of it. It will help their efforts at selling the guide as affiliates on the ClickBank MarketPlace, at the regular price of $27, for which I give 40 % commission.

By the way, I've started working on part 2 of the guide. It will describe features such as :
  • The APSense AdNetwork, a low-cost PPC system, to have APSense ( not AdSense ) ads appear on ad units on your sites on blogs, and how to create ads that will appear on targeted sites by members who put APSense AdNetwork ad units
  • how to create an ezine using the service of the same name.
  • Creating campaigns, with copywriting tips to launch good ones
  • much more
The first guide is taking you through the main features of APSense, i.e. the most popular ones, By having more and more members use the features in part 2 of the guide, we will take APSense and our own sites to the next level of success !

I invite you to take a look at my APSense Business Center ( ABC )  regularly to know where I am in my projects.

Stay tuned !

Philippe

I certainly woke up to a surprise this morning. When I logged in to APSense I thought I had been sent to another site, or my browser was playing up on me.
After working out that this was the new look for APSense, my next thought was that the Guide is now already a little dated as the screenshots show the earlier version of APSense.
I will also need to make sure that I am wearing my glasses while working on the computer, since a smaller font is used for much of the site.
But all of that said, after using the new look at APSense for a short time, I am finding it easy to navigate and a great look.

@Paula, Nev said the same thing. I think it would be nice to have the choice. Is it easy to configure a browser to do that ? If not, or if it's too much of a hassle, I guess we better ask Wincer to add such an improvement.

In my case, I love the smaller font, since we see more info in the Network feed. But that's just me. I fully respect what you and Nev said.

As a matter of fact, I work on a 22 inch screen, which is better on the eyes. I might have more reason to complain on a smaller screen.

I just edited the article to add a note : If you use the Chrome browser, you click on the icon tool to the far right, just under the X for closing the window, you will see the Zoom feature, click on the +

Prompt action again! Thanks for looking after the people who spend a lot of time in front of the computer, and whose eyes are suffering with age.

What more can I say, except very concrete and the normal level of writing that I have come to expect. Can u add an addendum to the Part 1 with new screen shots? I don't know if it is possible. I'm looking forward to Part 2.

I am a member of Linked In but I think APSense is, by far, better. The tools available here are fantastic. For social marketing, nothing compares to APSense.

@Catherine,the purposes of the 2 sites are very different. I like the fact that you can't just connect with anyone at Linked in, since the owners of the site take the job market very seriously.

APSense is about building businesses through finding and helping friends, that IS awesome for sure.

I have an eBook about making money with Linked In. One more thing that sits on my drive, waiting for me to take advantage of it.
