One of the BIGGEST mistakes

Thanks for this article. My first thought when reading it: were humans, we need the changing of ideas, experience, information. Sometimes it seems that or work in front of the PC makes us 'speechless' which means that we only express our thoughts throughout the written word without having a direct response.

Therefore networking is so important as it gives us the feeling back to take part of a world of humans and not only a screen with well designed blogs/websites etc.

I absolutely agree with you James. If you want to be successful at network marketing,it is necessary to make friends and be willing to help others.
Networks are about people and building relationships. Selling to someone is such a turn-off.

Thanks for the article! How true indeed! Network marketing isn't as easy as it sounds nor is it just about the programs that you market. There is indeed a lot more to be learned. We learn them all along the way with the help of friends and people who do care.

Idealy, you want to get away from just adding people to a downline to make money and learn how to create your own products, like a few informative eBooks, some eMail courses or set up your own membership site so you can exchange real value for money and show your members how they can benefit by learning from you how to use some great online tools and utilities to grow their own online business successfully ... :)

Helping others is wonderful. Everyone of us knows something the other might not know. Building up relationship, communicate about certain issues, interests etc. What I have seen so far - may be I am a little bit blind too (?) - most discussions are about: How to make money online and preferable fast. This naturally is a wide field and allows a lot of discussions. For some reason members of a social net which are online for a while are always confronted with the same programs, TE etc to join. If

Very well written and to the point, yep when we do the things in a correct fashion results occur, They happened for a reason, you effort and time paid off, more then likely why you got good results...networking is a contact sport........all we need to do to become successful is do things the correct way, one simple step at a time.. i do things the right way and enjoy the rewards....see time waits for no one.........the most precious thing wee have is time and we WASTE !!!! :(

I heartily agree with you James! Everyone is leading with their gotta have, super duper, make a fortune biz opp instead of trying to find out how they can be of value to people.

Start giving first and helping others and the money will take care of itself. It's not anyone's fault, that's just how most new marketers are taught.

"Guru" is not the right word to use nowadays. However, I do understand why people are inspired by your efforts, Paula. I am too, I've learned many things from you, things that really make a difference.

Yes, networking and making friends is the key. I get much response from the members from my group APSense 4 Newbies. it is nice this group is becoming popular. But sometimes scary too. I have received emails asking me to be their Guru. That is not what I want to be. I will give people general advise and tips but I do not want to be responsible for their succes.

This blog here, plus the good points added by Laura, Genesis, and others, I realized it's worth a tweet and a share on FB. :)
