Raffle, Raffle, Everywhere

by Gloria Hass Evangelist & Author

Raffles are not created equal and yet we wonder if they're worth entering.

People enter contests and sweepstakes and have the same chance of winning as if they had entered a raffle. Why don't people join in on more raffles? They don't want to pay the money involved to win a prize albeit they may only pay ONE DOLLAR for an entry to win or they aren't interested in the prize.

My question is this: If someone isn't interested in paying $1.00 for a prize, why would they enter the same contest if the items were free? Some people when they hear the word FREE, they enter everything that's free just to hoard an item. This is a waste of time, money and resources for the company involved. If you're not going to use the product or give it away as a gift (you already have someone in mind), then why don't you pass up the free opportunity so someone who could really use the item?

All free offers have a limited amount of rsources.

Let's give the poeple a hand up who are trying to earn an income with contests, raffles and sweepstakes!
