Gardening Is A Hobby - Is It True?

   A Question was asked as to whether it is true that gardening is a hobby. 

 

 

So lets ask ourselves as to what a hobby actually means in general.  That is what the majority of us perceive as a hobby.

To many a hobby is something outside of your job that you do in your spare time and enjoy.  When you are doing your gardening  and you truly love it and you are not aware of time, people, worries, it relaxes you and you gain pure pleasure from it.

Examples:

If someone asks you what you like doing in your spare time, there are those who would say.....

1)  I love going to the pub to have a drink, relax and talk to my mates and forget about my worries or to drown their worries or just to get away from things.

2) There are those who go mountain climbing as a hobby.

3) Fixing cars

4) Reading Books

5) Hiking

These are but a few examples...

Another thing to take into consideration is the fact there are many people doing the job they love and they consider it their hobby.  I know this sounds hard to believe but it is true.  They love what they do and when they get home they will do some thing else other than what they were doing - their hobby, but we all do that for it is in our nature to do a variety of things.

So no matter the reasons for these people doing these activities for as long as they are enjoying it, they get pleasure from it and they are giving there full awareness to it - It is a hobby.

So to answer the question- Gardening is a hobby - is it true.  In my perspective if you love gardening, you give your full attention to it,  it brings you pleasure.  Then Gardening is a Hobby.

A HOBBY IS SOMETHING YOU LOVE AND GAIN PLEASURE FROM.

OH! Remember you can earn or even making a living out of your hobby.
