Obtaining Solid Traffic, Simplified Steps

    Credible traffic generation doesn't necessarily mean you have to pay for it.  Of course, everyone knows shortcuts are not the best answer.  With that being said, let's get started.

   You don't want traffic coming to your site, if they aren't interested in what you have to offer.  You can purchase targeted traffic, but you know it's going to cost you.  However, targeted traffic is mandatory for a niche.

     I always recommend taking advantage of all the free resources the internet has to offer.  YouTube, Twitter, and a growing number of social networks are ideal places to help establish a name for yourself and your business.  The more visible you are; the more traffic you'll receive.  It is a little time consuming, but you'll reap the rewards in the long run.  I seriously consider these services viral traffic builders.

      Beware of companies offering inexpensive traffic.  Most of these companies promise a huge number of visits to your sites, but it's what you don't see that really hurts.  For example, they may offer 100,000 visits to your site for $9.95 per month.  Then they tell you you have to use their counter for an accurate report.  Anyone telling you this is probably sending robotic traffic to your site.  Is a robot really going to purchase your product?

     Another common problem with purchasing inexpensive traffic is their promise to deliver a lot of traffic your way.  After you make your purchase you don't see that promised amount.  Of course, then they tell you it takes time to get that traffic to your site.  You purchase 100,000 hits to your site and a month later you only see 59 people visited your site.  The next month comes and you see another 80 visits.  Are you really ever going to see 100,000 hits from this company?  Probably not.

     My recommendation is to take your time and develop a name for yourself.  Put yourself in the public eye and build a repertoire with your potential clients.  If you have a solid product and a website, you may want to consider hiring affiliates to help.  This could generate a lot of traffic rather quickly.
