Why Only Click Sites Advertise on Click Sites

by Manolito Sulit
I bet this is a common observation among the more conscientious rank of clickers. This is actually the reason why sooner 'than' later, a clicker will find himself just clicking. There are exceptions, of course.

Sooner or later, it will have an adverse effect on the PTC industry if old and new operators alike would not take extra and bold efforts to reach the more, let's say, conservative business sector to have more quality ads and in turn, bigger revenues. This would insure against shutting down that is a constant threat to clickers' investment of time and money.

I will add to the observation that only click sites, paid surveys, affiliates, MLM and similar sites advertise on click sites. It is because these are online businesses that interact with their direct customers - the online users.

That's how young actually your Internet is and how far it can still go especially when we consider that the majority of businesses (even in the US where it all started) are still learning to deal with their customers online.

In the Philippines, you'll get dismayed somehow at the less interactive, "brochure" sites such as those owned by banks, manufacturers, schools, government agencies and even the supposedly Internet-based technology companies like the broadband you're using.

How would you expect these companies to ride on click sites to promote their products and services? They don't even know how to sell or interact with their customers using their own websites. For sure, they don't even know they must do something if their sites should exist in search engine results.

These are also indications that their supposed Information Technology (I.T.) departments don't even function as they should, making them waste more money on people that get paid highly based on their certificates.

It would take some time before they could adopt to the way of the web. Now, as far as the click sites are concerned, there may not be a guarantee as to how long can they remain, but on the part of users like us, any activity we make on the Internet is part of a learning curve that cannot be shortened.

We are sure to get something from this as we continue to nourish our share of the worldwide web. (Also posted on PTC Bookmarks.)
