My Very Valentine

Once upon a time
You were my spirit.
With you as an antidote,
My breath would increase
and my health would cure.
But without you, my body would live and my soul will die.
How can I not treasure you on a day like this?
A day to never forget my love.

Our childhood friendship was long enough.
It lasted for years and it never was dumb.
We laughed and cheered throughout our good times.
And cried and screamed throughout the bad times.

However, a time came when you left me so
Flying far away where I wouldn't ever see you.
And afterwards when you returned,
I tried to talk but we were no more.
Friendship and love was over and never has it returned
Till date.
And never it will return as long as we live.

Why did you commit such a grave sin?
Why did the hatred replace my love which I brought up for years that flew.

Now I know you are a deceit!
A female who no one can trust!
A betraying person like you betrayed me.
And never will we reunite.

My valentine's dream last night was strange.
I saw you in that very dream asking me why we kept quiet for over five years.
Never did we talk since our separation.
And I know for sure that we will never talk.

I curse you on this very day!
For leaving me behind and always turning away.
From someone who loved you with all his heart.
He promises not to bless you with anything you desire.
But only curse you that you see my fire!
