What Effect Has The Price of Crude Oil Had On You:

February 22, 2008

Hello,

What Effect Has The Price of Crude Oil Had On You:

Did you know that Crude Oil has not reached it's all time high of $102.53 since it accomplished this feat back in April of 1980. It has been almost 28 years since it reached it's all time high, a year after the Iranian revolution.

How much money do you really need to make, a difference in your life style today? How can an average family be able to afford the basic needs of just getting to work, and making ends meet? Great concerns for all of us, to think about what is a head for the future.

Has the price of oil effected your standard of life lately. What can we as consumers do to change the regulation of oil prices. If prices keep going up, what is going to happen to our future. Here is an example what has been happening in the market, Gold, copper and soybeans, have all touched record highs. This is all due to the price of crude oil........

Lets Do A Survey

This will all be based on the location of your present residence, doesn't really matter what country or where you live. The more people we get from different countries the better this survey will be. I am just interested in seeing what is going on around the world and the effect and impact has had on your present state of mind.

-What is the current price of gas in your area, either by the gallon or litre?

-How many miles or Klms do you travel each day to work?

-How much money does it cost your family per month on fuel?

-Do you think we are getting ripped off, by OPEC?

-What effect has this had on your family budget or has it not effect it at all?

I would greatly appreciate it if we could get as many people involved in this survey, l am just doing a study on this and l need as much feed back as l can get from all who would like to share their feelings with all of us.

Once again l do appreciate your valued time and input

NOW FOUND OUT WHO IS BEHIND THE HIKES

This is all due to Rae, who found and wanted to share this video, you really need to see this video.....

See what CNN has to say about gas hikes

None! I work from home and my retired spouse found a niche hobby ~ driving folks around who has lost their priviledge to drive due to DUIs. It is amazing how many folks need this service.

I paid $2.99 gal in Corning California Today...
But truly, the price of Fuel has no major impact on our Life.

If we need more sustenance money, I just have to ramp up the
advertising Budget and bring in more sales. Of course that
just increases the 10% set aside account for Emergencies,
so vagaries in the Market place are not a concern in this household.
As long as one keeps sustenance requirements at 50% of Net Income..
No problems.

What is exciting are the wonderful equity purchases available and the
Real Estate Market is Phenomenal.

Pappy always said Cash Talks and everything else Walks

Yes it has been a longtime since l have been able to come back and review what l have wrote as well as what others have also wrote. Since l first wrote this article crude oil has reached an all time high of $147.00 give or take a few dollars. It has been a very profitable for all of them. They have created a lock and control of how the price will be determined each and every day.

I would have to say they have succeeded in their quest for greed without any concern for the everyday working person. We paid dearly each and every day that we went to the pumps. The created a worldwide problem effecting every industry in the world. Let’s be fair here, all raw materials have to be transported to and from each and every company.

Now that the demand has been slowed down and crude oil has dropped under $70.00 a barrel. How come the gas companies have not adjusted the pricing accordingly to what crude oil is selling for? The answer is well, we bought that gas at a higher price, but when crude oil jumps upward in price they immediately increase the cost of gasoline at the pumps. Now l am really confused, seems like this is a one way street……………………

Any thoughts on what is happening here with crude oil and why it is not been reflected at the pumps……..

What is the current price of gas in your area, either by the gallon or litre = $4.59

How many miles or Klms do you travel each day to work? Basically none, I CHOSE to live a life with income generated form Home, spend 50% of my net on necessities and re-invest the rest

How much money does it cost your family per month on fuel? Unless we schedule a Horse show, or I have an appt, less than $60 month

Do you think we are getting ripped off, by OPEC? I do not allow people to "rip me off" I believe in a market driven economy. If I don't like the price someone set for something, I chose not to purchase. The rip off is that Society has indoctrinated the unitiated Masses on a lifestyle, that does nothing to Build wealth, encourages a BUYERS mentality.

What effect has this had on your family budget or has it not effect it at all. We think how importnat it is to make foolish trips, and it only 4 miles to town, making a nice 10 mile walk. Good for my Health and Wealth

Jenny is not so far from the truth - except the people who are pushing up the price are gamblers. They have no other aim in life than to profit - by whatever means possible.

.Hi Jenny,

Not so sure l would agree with one of the statements you said a small group in control, perhaps it was just an expression or how you viewed it. What you have described would make very good sense, you see it, you also understand it. But most of all deep inside u care of what is really happening, you did take the time to write a comment. I would have to say we have all been lead in the wrong directions and have accepted what was offered. Why we pay what we pay at the pumps. We close our eyes look the other way, make all the excuses that we will not accept it, but we do, we are very weak with our stand, rather sad...................... We have the same standards as a person who drinks too much and has the ability when he is under the influence to think in a illusion fashion that makes zero sense or directions............... We are always ready to pas it to the next person in hope he/she will be able to accomplish what we have thought of...........

The only comment that I feel I can usefully add to this discussion is this.

In this modern world of easy and fast communication - the level of DISINFORMATION has become more sophisticated and better controlled than ever before.

Why is everyone so surprised that things are not as we were led to believe, as far as the world supplies and extraction of crude oil is concerned? I can't believe that we are that trusting or naive.

When kingdoms were ruled in ancient times by kings and queens - they were invariably ruled in the interests of the rulers and not the population. Now things have changed and the populations' interests are sometimes taken into account to a greater or lesser extent. But we are still not told everything and we are fed an extraordinary amount of what can only be called "propoganda"

The truth behind the oil crisis is one that is deeply affected by an astounding variety of vested interests and is so complety dominated by these small power groups . It t goes back through generations of political and economic vested interests

I personally do not know the why nor the how. BUT What I have always been aware of is that WE DO NOT KNOW AND ARE NOT TOLD. I wonder how this part of history will be written one or two hundred years from now - because you can bet your boots it is not the story we are being told.

An aspect that was glossed over in the video (I do not accept repeating that fuel could be $1.50 within a year is proof) was the quality of the oil.

When Britain started extracting oil from the North Sea, the quality was simply too high to be wasted by reducing it to fuel - consequently, Britain continued to be a gross importer (eventually net importer) of crude oil.

That aside, Lindsey was very careful to say that the crude would not go to the petrol pumps without actually saying it would not be going anywhere else. The biggest crude oil pipeline in the world has been built at a cost of $12 billion.

Why? . . . . . So that the crude should stay where it is?

Crude oil, as Lindsey says at some length, is the source of many products deemed essential to our modern lifestyle - but he didn't say that this was not the use to which the Gull Island oil was being put. He simply implied that the oil was not being used. He was very adamant in most of what he said but this point - which would have been a very powerful one to make - he totally prevaricated over.

With all the conspiracy theories about, let me put this little thought to you........

What is happening behind the smoke screen that Lindsey seems to be throwing up?

Dare to think the unthinkable?

Now another little thought............

He made great play upon the fact that the natural gas was being pumped back into the ground. I don't suppose this could be anything to do with keeping the oil under pressure so that it could be extracted at less cost? Usually they would use water for this or simply let the collapse of the strata maintain the pressure. Can they expect water to remain available and liquid in this region of Alaska?

I have no doubt that Lindsey is a very creditable man and that he sat in on many board meetings.

I have to ask why.

He was a chaplain. He was not an oil man. The board did not concern itself with issues of morale - that's what the management is for.

Lindsey admits and states several times that these people have very meticulous plans for several years ahead. Were they setting him up to create the diversion he is now doing so well?

Would such meticulous planners simply wave him into, what seem to, be quite confidential meetings with no other purpose than to improve morale in the drilling fields?

This video raises all sorts of questions and puts me in mind of the many smoke screens that went up before GWB and his poodle, TB, invaded a defenceless country - justifying it only by lies, lies and more lies.
